Located at the throat, this chakra is associated with creativity, self-expression and the search for truth. The Throat chakra is associated with thyroid gland, upper lungs and respiratory system.

The throat chakra allows us to communicate our thoughts and feelings. It is directly connected to the ability to express inner creativity. Both teaching and learning are affected by the balance of the throat chakra.

The throat chakra is located at the level of the 5th cervical verterbrae but affects between the 3rd and 7th verterbrae. It therefore affects not only the throat but also the neck, shoulders, arms and hands. When our throat chakra is open and balanced we are able to speak openly and honestly from the heart , we are in touch with our creativity

When out of balance we may feel “unheard” by others , have a poor sense of our own personal boundaries building up tension, anger and frustration, and either talk too much or hold back from expressing ourselves.

This chakra is also related to our ability to hear our own inner voice as it is only when we know our own truth that we are able to communicate it effectively to others. Staying true to ourselves in our decisions – no matter what pressure we feel under from others - is key to balance in this area.

This blend contains the following pure essential oils: Benzoin, Frankincense, Lemon, Marjoram, Myrrh, Peppermint and Sandalwood calm, soothe and ground us allowing us of to know our own truth in the present moment – free from the pressure of others opinions and judgements. Physically they may calm and soothe sore throats, coughs and hoarseness. Cedarwood, Juniper and Thyme strengthen and empower us to speak up and out during challenging times when we may feel like misunderstood and unsupported. Physically they may help to decongest and fight infection. Eucalyptus, Clove, Hyssop and Tea Tree purify and open our energies yet all the while instilling a sense of protection so that we can express ourselves with confidence and without fear. As with the previous group these three oils also have anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. Finally Lavender and Chamomile help release tension accumulated through periods of lack of self expression, facilitating calm and easy communication and at the same time reducing heat and inflammation on a physical level.

As we learn to be still and recognise our inner voice, we begin to feel the resonance of our own truth. As our own personal resonanace becomes stronger and clearer so we attract to us similar people and experiences who will fortify and support us on our journey. Our inner vibration reflects perfectly our outer vibration and the mind and body begin to work harmoniously.
